My FamilyRx · Arghan Studios LLC

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 19, 2026

1. What My FamilyRx is

My FamilyRx is an informational tool that helps a household keep a record of the medicines it has on hand, who they are for, and what a clinical reference says about them. It is a filing cabinet with a reading light — nothing more. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or make decisions for you. It is published by Arghan Studios LLC.

2. Not medical advice

Nothing in My FamilyRx is medical, pharmaceutical, or professional advice. The information shown is general reference material and is not tailored to your medical history, your current condition, or anything your clinicians know about you. Do not take, stop, delay, or change the dose of any medication based on this app alone. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist first. If you think you are having a medical emergency or a serious reaction to a medicine, stop reading and call your local emergency number or poison control immediately.

3. No doctor-patient relationship

Using My FamilyRx does not create a doctor-patient, pharmacist-patient, or any other professional relationship between you and us. We are not your healthcare provider, we do not review what you enter, and no licensed professional is monitoring your account.

4. Accuracy is not guaranteed

Interaction, duplicate-ingredient, allergy, and timing information is derived from a clinical reference, from openFDA drug-label data, and from what you type in. Drug data changes, references disagree, labels are misread, and the reference does not cover every medicine, food, alcohol, supplement, herb, formulation, or region. Information in the app may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong for your situation. A result that shows no warning is not a statement that a medicine is safe for you — it may simply mean the reference has nothing on that combination. Treat every result as a prompt to ask a doctor or pharmacist, never as an answer.

5. Your responsibility for what you enter

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you or another caregiver in your household adds: names, strengths, doses, dates, allergies, conditions, and the people they belong to. Photo recognition of medication labels is a convenience and is frequently imperfect — check every scanned result against the physical label before you rely on it. Keeping the household record correct and current is your job, not ours.

6. Households and shared access

An account holder can invite other caregivers into a household. Anyone in a household can see and edit every profile, medicine, and dose record in it. Share an invite code only with people you intend to give that access to, and remove people who should no longer have it. You confirm you have the authority to enter health information about the dependents and other people in your household.

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create and hold an account. Profiles for children and other dependents may be created and managed only by an adult account holder who is responsible for them.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use My FamilyRx to make clinical decisions for people outside your household, to provide healthcare services to others, to build a competing dataset, or in any way that breaks applicable law. Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

9. Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available when you need it. Do not rely on My FamilyRx as your only record of your family's medicines — keep a copy you control.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use My FamilyRx — including any harm resulting from information the app displayed, failed to display, or displayed incorrectly. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places these limits apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or health information you entered about another person.

13. Subscriptions and payment

My FamilyRx is free to use, and the safety checks in it are free for everyone, for ever. Household is an optional paid plan bought once for a whole household: one purchase covers every profile in it and every caregiver invited to it, on every device they sign in from.

  • What it costs. Household is offered as a monthly subscription and an annual subscription. The price you pay is the one shown in the app in your own currency before you confirm, and it is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you start it. A trial converts to a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one.
  • Cancelling and managing. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings — we cannot cancel it for you, because we never hold your payment details. Cancelling stops future charges; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Refunds. Apple and Google sell and bill these purchases, so refunds are handled entirely by them under their own policies. Ask the store you bought from.
  • Price changes. We may change prices for new purchases and for future renewals. Where the store requires your consent to a rise before it takes effect, you will be asked for it; where it does not, we will tell you before the renewal it applies to.
  • If you stop paying. Nothing you have recorded is deleted, hidden or locked. Your household keeps every medicine, person, dose, reading and appointment, keeps every safety check, and can still export all of it. What stops is the paid tools themselves.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the change is material, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app. Continuing to use My FamilyRx after that means you accept it.

15. Ending your account

You may stop using My FamilyRx at any time. To close your account and permanently delete the data in it, open the app and go to More → Delete account, or email cedricluma@icloud.com with the phone number you signed up with. The steps are also published at https://familyrx.arghanstudios.com/delete-account. Before you go, More → Download my data gives you a copy of your household's records to keep. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
